What is our Cancellation Policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the booking type. Generally, cancellations made 72 hours prior to check-in are eligible for a full refund. For specific details, please refer to your booking confirmation or contact our reservations team.
Where is The Loose Moose located?
The Loose Moose is located at 240 Hancock St, Grand Lake, CO 80447, US. We recommend using Google Maps or your GPS for the most accurate directions.
What’s the best way to get directions to the property?
Please use Google Maps or your preferred GPS device to locate the property once you arrive in Grand Lake.
Is there parking available on-site?
Yes! Guests can park directly in front of The Loose Moose. There is ample parking space for all of our guests.

What time is check-in, and can I arrive early?
Check-in is anytime after 3:00 PM. If you’d like to check in early, please reach out ahead of time—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.
What time is check-out?
Check-out is anytime is 10:00 AM To 11:00 AM.
What do I need to do before checking out?
Before you leave, please:
- Leave used beds unmade
- Put any used dishes in the dishwasher, and turn it on/run the dishwasher.
- Turn off the stove and lights
- Set the heat to 65°F
- Return any rearranged furniture to its original spot
- Leave bathroom and bedroom wall heaters OFF (Please turn off the heaters.)
- Please keep any trash inside the unit's trash bin
- Leave used towels on the floor
- Lock all doors and close all windows
Is The Loose Moose pet-friendly?
Yes! We are a pet-friendly property. There is a $50 pet fee per stay. Please let us know in advance if you're bringing a furry friend.
How do I access my unit?
- Each unit is equipped with a Yale Smart Lock.
- Your unit number will be listed in your Reservation & Confirmation emails.
- Press the Yale logo or touch the screen with three fingers, enter the code, and press the ✅ to unlock.
- Press the Yale logo to lock
Where can I find my unit number and door code?
Please refer to your Reservation & Confirmation emails. Your assigned unit number and 4-digit smart lock code will be included there.
Is WiFi available?
Yes, free WiFi is included in your stay.

What are the house rules?
To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone, please follow these rules:
- 🚫 No parties, events, or unregistered guests
- 🚭 No smoking inside the units — violation incurs a $250 cleaning fee
- 🐾 Pets are welcome with a $50/stay fee
- 👶 Suitable for toddlers and kids under 12
- 🍽️ No eating or drinking in the bedrooms
- 🔇 Observe quiet hours from 10 PM to 8 AM — violation incurs a $100 fee
- 🪑 Do not rearrange furniture
- 🧼 Please do your dishes and take out trash
- 🗑️ Please keep all trash inside the unit's trash bin. Our team will take care of it. For longer stays, we can set up a trash pick-up for you if needed.
- 🚫 No illegal substances on the premises
- ⏰ Respect check-in and check-out times
- 🧾 You are responsible for any damages beyond the security deposit
- 👥 Extra unregistered guests incur a $100/person fee
Are there TVs in the units? How do I use them?
We do have two versions of Roku TVs in place. Please choose instructions for the TV you have in your unit.
For TVs with external Roku device:
- The TV in the front room has Cable and Local Channels.
For Roku: TV must be set to the correct output for Roku device to display.
Adjust volume by using the separate TV remote, not the Roku remote.
For TVs with no external Roku device:
- use the TV remote to navigate into the home / menu screen
- choose Roku Channel
What is Good Neighbor Policy?
Please help us be respectful neighbors:
- No loud music, stomping, or shouting Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
- No outdoor music during quiet hours
- Thank you for helping maintain a peaceful space for both guests and locals.

How do I use the sleeper couch?
- Locate the handle in the center front of the couch
- Lift and pull out to convert it into a bed
- Extra pillows and sheets are in the closet
- Please use a bottom sheet before sleeping on the couch
What’s the trash and dumpster policy?
To protect guests and wildlife:
🚫 Guests may no longer use the dumpster directly
🧹 Our cleaning team is on-site daily from 11 AM–2 PM
If you have garbage to dispose of, just text or call us and we’ll take care of it Thank you for helping keep the property clean for the next guests!
